Peacock has officially pulled back the curtain on the highly anticipated celebrity cast for the upcoming season of its hit reality competition series The Traitors, setting the stage for another round of psychological warfare, strategy, and cinematic drama when the show returns in 2027.

Known for bringing together an eclectic mix of reality television royalty, athletes, and mainstream celebrities, the upcoming installment leans even further into Hollywood talent and scripted television actors than previous iterations. While the Bravo universe continues to maintain a formidable and unsurprising presence in the Scottish Highlands castle, the latest roster boasts a remarkably diverse array of backgrounds, ranging from Broadway stages and Olympic podiums to professional football fields and global comedy circuits.

Among the standout names headlining the 2027 cast are musical theater icon and Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth, Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim, Whitney Leavitt of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and former NFL running back Rashad Jennings. They will be joined by an extensive lineup of competitors representing nearly every major corner of the entertainment and unscripted television landscape.

The full cast list features Bianca Del Rio of RuPaul’s Drag Race, viral content creator Boman Martinez-Reid, Bronwyn Newport of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, actress Casey Wilson, snowboarder and champion Chloe Kim, singer and reality personality Cody Simpson, Craig Conover of Southern Charm, Cynthia Bailey of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, actor Dominic Monaghan, Emira D’Spain of Next Gen NYC, Gizelle Bryant of The Real Housewives of Potomac, and Iain Stirling, best known for his work on Love Island.

Rounding out the robust 23-person roster are Jag Bains of Big Brother and The Amazing Race, JaNa Craig of Love Island USA, Joey Graziadei of The Bachelor, actor Johnny Sibilly, Kristin Chenoweth, Michele Fitzgerald of Survivor and The Challenge, Q Burdette of Survivor, Rachel Robinson of The Challenge, Rashad Jennings, Taylor Hale of Big Brother and The Amazing Race, and Whitney Leavitt.

Based on the wildly popular Dutch format created by IDTV, The Traitors places its contestants into a tense social experiment where they are divided into two distinct groups: the Faithfuls and the Traitors. In the traditional setup of the game, all participating players initially enter the castle as Faithfuls. The host—Alan Cumming—then secretly selects a small group, typically three players, to operate as the Traitors.

While the Faithfuls must work together to complete challenges, build up a cash prize, and weed out suspicion through round-table discussions and banishments, the Traitors operate in the shadows. Each night, the secret saboteurs must choose one Faithful player to eliminate from the game, metaphorically "murdering" them before they can uncover the truth. The intricate web of paranoia, alliances, and deception has quickly turned the series into a massive critical and commercial hit for Peacock since its American debut.

The long-term future of the franchise appears exceptionally secure. Peacock has already demonstrated immense confidence in the format by renewing The Traitors for an additional three seasons beyond the upcoming celebrity cycle, guaranteeing that the hit competition series will run for at least nine seasons in total. Furthermore, the massive global and domestic success of the format has encouraged NBCUniversal to expand the brand further, recently introducing a civilian version of the series titled The Traitors: New Blood. Within the show’s official broadcast timeline, New Blood is technically categorized as the program’s fifth season, positioning the upcoming star-studded celebrity iteration as its sixth overall season.

As production ramps up and anticipation builds among fans of the deception-heavy game, the 2027 premiere promises to deliver an unprecedented level of drama, unexpected alliances, and high-stakes gameplay as Hollywood stars and reality veterans alike attempt to outwit one another inside the treacherous castle.
