Released today, the expansive line features just over 100 furniture, lighting, wall decor, rug, and glassware items developed in close partnership with Evan Jerry, founder of Studio ANANSI and a member of CB2’s Designer Collective. Rather than approaching the collaboration as a standard merchandising deal, Dean approached interior design as a direct extension of his musical career, viewing spatial arrangement and sonic architecture as two sides of the same creative coin.
“My goal for the collection was to bring families together, which is why I named it after my family,” Dean says, discussing the overarching vision behind the project. “I wanted to design what I thought was the creative home for all creatives—no matter what medium you choose.”

Throughout the collection, Dean’s unique design language is marked by a sophisticated interplay of bold, architectural silhouettes and deeply tactile, inviting materials. This creative tension is evident across the catalog, which is heavily saturated in rich earth tones, curved edges, and luxurious textures. Among the standout pieces are contemporary channel-tufted sectionals wrapped in olive green velvet, egg-shaped swivel chairs upholstered in fluffy taupe shearling, and playful, smoke-tinted glassware designed to function as much as standalone art objects as they do functional drinkware.
Andrea Erman, CB2’s senior director of design and product development, notes that the collaboration successfully merges distinct visual identities to create a cohesive atmosphere of warmth and refinement. “There’s a beautiful tension between bold, sculptural silhouettes and softer, more tactile materials,” Erman explains. “The rich browns, warm ivories, bronze accents, and unexpected touches of color give everything a sense of warmth and sophistication.”
Personal anecdotes and biographical nods are woven deeply throughout the collection, offering consumers a glimpse into Dean’s personal aesthetic and lifestyle. Perhaps most prominently, the collection heavily incorporates British Racing Green, a deep, saturated shade that Dean identifies as his absolute favorite color. This particular hue makes frequent appearances, notably covering the Brainstorm Leather Accent Chair and serving as a striking visual accent on the mappa burl wood Lam-Louie DJ Console—a signature entertainment piece that acknowledges Dean’s foundational roots in hip-hop and DJ culture.

“I love that color on any car, furniture—I’d even paint the outside of a home with it,” Dean says of his signature shade. “I feel it represents timelessness, elegance, and class.”
The deep green leather pieces find a harmonious counterpart in other elements of the collection, such as the oxblood enamel hexagonal coffee table, which anchors living spaces with a sharp yet understated pop of color. This table pairs effortlessly with either the dark taupe or warm white New Zealand wool area rugs—specifically the St. Mary and Jackson Ave. models—demonstrating an intuitive sense of color theory and spatial balance.
Dean’s deep-seated passion for contemporary fine art also heavily informs the collection. As an avid collector whose private holdings were famously showcased in a major exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum in 2024, Dean ensured that visual artistry remained at the forefront of the collaboration. The lifestyle campaign and supporting materials feature a curated selection of commissioned paintings by artist Megan Gabrielle, reinforcing the dialogue between high art and domestic architecture. Furthermore, smaller decorative items, such as the bubble-stemmed glassware, were conceived as miniature sculptures. “I imagined these pieces as sculptures, so whether you’re using or viewing them, they always feel like art,” Dean notes.

Despite featuring more than 100 distinct items, the collection maintains a remarkable sense of cohesion, allowing buyers to mix and match statement furniture with foundational decor elements without disrupting the visual flow of a room. This seamless integration stems from Dean’s perspective on the unity of artistic disciplines. Having crafted major hit records for some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Drake, Dean sees no functional difference between producing a track and styling a living room.
“Music is art, designing is art, so I used the same side of my brain I would use to make music, the medium was just different,” he shares, reflecting on the creative process behind the partnership. “One is a sonic installation and the other is a visual and physical installation, they co-exist like brother and sister.”
